"I'm doing what I love. To me that is success. However, I'm working on being more successful - which for me right now means having more time to spend with my family and my soul-brothers and soul-sisters, while feeling that I'm giving my best in my work, really sharing all the gifts I can with the world.
I'll share a little personal story with you...
When I've been in potentially life-threatening situations, for example when I've been on a flight and the plane is going through such turbulence that I wonder if it can handle so much shaking... one thought comes to mind... "Have I done what I came to do?"
I feel I've been blessed with an insight into the nature of love... and into the nature of peace.
So, for me, fulfilment and peace of mind is all about communicating the 'messages of love', empowerment and Liberation to as many people as possible in a way that they can really 'get it' and experience radical transformation in their hearts and in their lives.
When I'm faced with the question, "Am I about to die?" I'm basically at peace with 'death' itself', but to feel totally truly ready I need to feel that I've been true to myself, and true to those that are in my life, by sharing fully, fearlessly.
It can be challenging at times. Sometimes I can fall back on what's familiar and 'easy' and predictable. But this 'course'/studygroup is a part of this soul-level commitment to myself and to you.
I live in conditions that I am very grateful for, and which some would certainly consider 'enviable', but sometimes money is still an issue; mainly because I have a family to care for.
Whenever I see that money has become an issue again, I can be sure that I haven't been sharing or valuing my gifts adequately.
And even though I love what I do, I'm also working on including more of the things that I love in my work... more music and more companionship, for example.
It's specially challenging to work with 'spiritual teachings' and 'spiritual healing', because many people expect these to be 'gifted' - to be shared freely. So the question of how to 'value' my spiritual work, or to find other inspiring sources of income-generation while making my work available to as many people as possible without economic barriers, has come up repeatedly over the years.
So much human suffering and so many deaths are caused by poverty. So many separations, fights and divorces are about money. It's one of the most urgent problems for us to solve.
I have a 'vision' that came to me that relates to how we can resolve a great part of the world's problems. It takes a double-ended approach. Not only do we have to work on ourselves and be the change we want to see in the world... we also desperately need to learn to collaborate. We need to harness the power of synergistic relationships.
I still have much to learn, but I already have much to share, and I'm looking forward to growing and co-creating together with you on this program."
- Peter Littlejohn Cook
Peter Littlejohn Cook will be our facilitator during this immersion in reclaiming our personal power.
Peter has been an avid student of all things sustainable - of intentional inner and outer culture - for over 20 years.
In his late teens after a 'spiritual awakening' he became a 'personal development addict', and while living mainly in London most of the time between 1994 and 2004 he studied so many healing modalities and studied with so many spiritual teachers that he's literally lost count of them.
But some touched his heart, left a lasting impression and helped set him on the path of Yoga, meditation, Tantra and Taoist practices.
Seeking to find a modern format rather than the old guru-style approach, Peter trained in Coaching with Applied Emotional Intelligence to assist with his one-on-one work as a guide/consultant/facilitator of personal development.
He has also been sought out by other therapists and teachers for his experience and mastery of energy-work, breath-work, body-work and meditation.
Peter gives online Tantra courses as well as a Tantra and Personal Development training in Sintra.
He leads retreats and spiritual pilgrimages to sacred places of the ancient wisdom traditions, specially to Tamil Nadu, South India, the land of the '18 Siddha Tradition' of Kundalini Kriya Yoga.
Peter has given workshops internationally and has presented his meditation practices to scientists and spiritual teachers from around the world at the SAND Conference in Italy, Holland and USA.
In the area of Social Permaculture, Peter has given talks and workshops on the subject of 'Rethinking Money' and 'Alternative Money Systems'.
